Fiona Landers, a nurse, flees from a haunted house in DreadOut, haunted by disturbing occurrences. Her decision to return home to the WORLD OF HORROR Game and her family, inadvertently brings the malevolent spirit of Kayako Saeki with her. Consumed by the curse, Fiona commits a horrifying act of violence against her family before taking her own life.
Detectives Goodman and Wilson probe the gruesome scene. Wilson, absorbing the house's eerie aura, plunges into madness, while Goodman recoils from the investigation. Concurrently, real estate agents Peter and Nina Spencer are grappling with the possibility of their unborn child having a hereditary disorder. Peter's encounter with the ghost of Melinda at 44 Reyburn Drive marks the beginning of his own terrifying ordeal. Falling prey to the curse, he commits an unspeakable act of dread against his own family.
